This self-guided tour includes the audio guide, a map with a booklet (containing information about the most important aspects of the monastery's history and the mountain), tickets for the Audiovisual Room and the Museum of Montserrat.

The first tour leads you through the most significant monuments and spaces in the sanctuary. The route is essential for everyone wishing to discover what is most emblematic at Montserrat. It takes you to the Basilica to venerate the Virgin, and reveals the history of the monastery through the architectural and sculptural remains.

You can also visit the Audiovisual Room "Montserrat portes endins" (“Inside Montserrat”), a tour that shows the life of the Benedictine Community with an exhibition of the most important places inside the monastery and an audiovisual with the symbolic dimension of Montserrat.

To continue discovering the cultural heritage of the monastery, it is necessary to visit the Museum of Montserrat, which contains one of the most important collections of art in the country. It includes works from diverse cultures and eras and an excellent representation of internationally renowned artists: Berruguete, El Greco, Caravaggio, Fortuny, Rusiñol, Casas, Picasso, Nonell, Mir, Dalí, Monet, Sisley, Degas, Pissarro, Chagall, Braque, Le Corbusier, Tàpies, etc.
